2025 Summer Camps Are Now Available!
The wait is over – we are excited to announce that registration for our Summer Programs is officially OPEN!! With a wide variety of sessions available to choose from we’re confident that each family will find an offering that fits their needs, and if you have any specific questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to our Supplemental Programming Director – Kirstine Jensen – kirstine@modvolleyball.com.
Below you will find additional details and registration links for each of our summer offerings, all of which will take place at the North Shore Sportscenter (formerly Athletico Center). We’re looking forward to training the summer away with our athletes, and hope to see you out on the courts with us soon!
*When signing up for our Summer programs please use your athlete’s age group for next fall during registration. For example, if you played 14’s (typically 8th graders) during the 2024-2025 season and will be a freshman in the Fall, be sure to sign up under the 15U age group. Feel free to contact us if you are unsure of which age group your athlete belongs to. Each MOD offering is open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age/grade level, and/or gender.*
2025 Summer Line Up
Our goal when planning for our summer training options is to provide a comprehensive assortment of programs, so that new and veteran athletes alike have an opportunity to grow within our gym space. Here is a preview of what you can expect to see this summer!
Camp Descriptions:
-
All Skills
- This camp focuses on elevating each athlete’s understanding of and ability to consistently perform each of our sport’s core skills. Build confidence in your game by building and maintaining a well-rounded skillset!
-
Skills & Play Camp
- Get the best of both worlds! This camp will provide multiple days of skill-focused training within camp teams, concluding with a day dedicated to competition among those same groups. Technical feedback will be a priority focus as we push athletes to translate skill adjustments into a live, full-speed match setting.
-
Game Play
- Whether you are entering the summer camp season with a specific focus or want to put the skills you’ve learned through our other offerings to the test, our Gameplay Camp is designed to help athletes COMPETE! From technical scenarios to offensive & defensive schemes, this program will have you ready to lace up for your next official match or event.
-
Club Tryout & School Tryout Prep
- Shake off the summer rust and prepare for a new season with our Tryout Prep Camps! Each session will run through a series of ball control warm-ups, technical drills, & some form of competitive 6v6 training.
-
Elite Camp (9th – 12th only)
- MOD’s high school elite camp is designed to provide an insight into the culture, training environment, and coaching in MOD Elite Programming. This camp is specifically built for elite athletes looking to advance their training opportunities in the Chicagoland area. Athletes in this camp will be held accountable to MOD elite standards, and should have the base training equivalent of national level travel teams if they are not already a member of a MOD elite team.
-
Small Group Training
- Our Small Group Training sessions provide a high-repetition, technical breakdown of specific volleyball skills and concepts with a maximum player-to-coach ratio of 8:1. Whether you are focused on bettering your ball control, set location and consistency, or offensive range we have you completely covered this summer with a variety of dates and times to choose from!
-
Elite College Coach Camp (Boys Only)
- Train with some of the best in the biz! This camp lineup provides athletes with a taste of NCAA action as we work through drills & scenarios provided by current collegiate coaches.
-
Open Gyms (Boys Only)
- Lace up and hit the courts at your own pace during one of our Open Gym dates! These sessions offer supervised use of MOD’s gym space, with limited feedback provided in order to keep all courts running efficiently. Note that there is no formal training provided during these sessions.
-
MOD Minis Camps (K-4th Grade)
- Similar to our MOD Minis seasons, our camp series serves as an introductory “crash course” to the sport of volleyball. Participants will learn the essential skills and concepts through various games and drills, all while building up the strength and coordination required in order to train and compete as a club athlete.
